GUIDELINES/RULES
- The Wing of Shadows is a Light Roleplaying Guild
-
In guildchat no roleplaying is required.
-
Please keep personal life OUT of the channel. Chit chat is alright however, spare us your sex life and rude/inappropiate language (remember we may have some young players in the guild) Lets try to keep it clean.
-
Speaking aloud ( /say ) must be in roleplay.
Let us give others the impression that we are serious when emersed in the universe that roleplayers share around us.
- There are currently four ranks within the Wing of Shadows
- Follower: This is the probationary rank that is given to all new recruits. The probationary rank allows senior guild members the opportunity to evaluate the player for full membership status. Normally probationary periods can last anywhere from two to three weeks. Any Council member may promote the member to full membership status if guildmaster is unavailable.
- Guard: This rank is for members who have passed their probation period and have proven a valuable and reliable member to the guild.
- Alternates: This rank is given to any character that has his or her main character in the guild but would like to enrole their alt. This allows other guild mates the ability to view who the character actually is (main character) and ask for assistance. This also allows the alt player the chance to play other characters and stay in touch with his or her fellow guildmates.
-
Council Member: This rank is assigned to the
elite few that have helped in the establishment of the guild and/or have proven themselves through loyalty or hardwork. Example: Grayne(The Bald) who has given his free time to the creation of our webpage. ** /bow **
- As people's lives go beyond the scopes of the game, we will be arranging either, one or two nights a week for events such as Guild PVP or Instance Running.
There will also be a day or two a week that one or two of the council members will be assigned to help rush characters along to lvl 60.
- (Note: Remember that rushing through quests can make grinding the last few levels of your character more difficult).
The exact dates and times will be posted on the guild forums.
Note to Council members: We will have a short officer's meeting on either saturday or sunday to determine scheduel for the upcoming week.
- Asking Help from your fellow guildmates
- When asking for help please make sure that you have tried to ask for a group in region one general chat before asking in guild chat. We do want to help members along but we do not want to be a crutch. If you want to be rushed then please wait for one of the rush days that was discussed previously
- Having fun & Promoting our Guild
- Remember to promote our guild and to keep an eye out for possible recruits.
- We all want to get involved in end game instances, destroy the horde in pvp and enjoy all the game has to offer but imagine how much more enjoyable it would be if it were all guildies in these groups. Lets bolster our numbers and reap all the benefits and rewards into the guild itself.
- Designated Merchants
- Most of you might already have your professions picked out and require a great deal of plans and materials to get your trade polished. A select few will be selected to be designated merchants
- Materials that can be used for the craft will be collected from group runs and put into storage for these designated merchants.
- These merchants will then have the ability to practise thier given trade while enhancing or creating guild supplies.
- Designated Bank
- A designated toon is created for any excess money saved through guild runs.
- These funds will then be used to help in purchasing further plans or supplies to buff the guild as a whole. (If a plan is on the auction house that you wish to purchase please make a note to one of the council members on and we can try to designate to help in purchasing that plan.)
- Guild bank will try to cover up to at least 50 percent of the cost the rest will fall on the person wanting the plan. Designated Merchants will have the cost covered up to 80 percent if possible the rest will fall on that person. If the plan is rare or elite cost might be covered up to 100 percent.
- The guild's bank is Wosbank, a level 1 Dwarf, who spends his time counting money in Ironforge.
**Designated banking is pending at this time until a sufficient sum is aquired**
